Directions & Access

For viewing purposes, please use the secondary access point.

  • From Banwell village, head east on the A368 towards Sandford.
  • After approximately half a mile, you will see a layby on the right-hand side with a double wooden gate set back and Wood4Sale signs (point C on the plan).  
  • Please park in a suitable safe place in front of the gates but not obstructing both of them. Sorry we do not provide keys for viewings.
  • Climb the gate and turn immediately right, continue along the track and up the hill.
  • After roughly half a mile you will reach a T junction (point D) with the ruins of a cottage set back to the right.
  • Turn left here and walk up the hill for a short distance until you see the large agricultural building on your left and a 12’ metal gate on the left shortly after (point B).
  • Go through this gate and then the second one immediately after and you are in the field.


  • The field boundary is the agricultural fence that surrounds the fields.
  • The boundary around the building is blue paint on trees and posts to the west and north and the northern edge of the stone access track to the south.
  • The east boundary is the agricultural field.
